Facial Exercise

Facial exercise is used to stimulate blood flow and circulation, relieves tension, and improves overall appearance of the face.

As you get aged, it is normal that your facial muscles become slaggy, slack, and baggy.

You can simply massage your face with your hands. Stroke your whole face with both hands across the cheeks and over your forehead.

Facial exercises

Forehead: Place your index fingers just above your eyes and pull down your eyes while raising your eyebrows. This facial exercise firms your forehead. Repeat this exercise for ten times.

Lips: Suck on your finger as hard as possible and slowly remove it. Repeat this exercise for ten times. This facial exercise firms your lips.

Eyes: Sit with your eyes closed and relaxed. While keeping your eyes closed, look down and look up as far as possible. Repeat this exercise for ten to fifteen times.

Sit straight with your eyes closed and relaxed. Lift your eyebrows and stretch your eyelids down as far as possible by keeping your eyes closed. Keep in this position for a count of ten, relax and repeat it for ten times.

Cheeks: Take your three center fingers and place them on the cheeks and push them down. At the same time, raise your cheeks by smiling as hard as you can. Keep your head back when you are performing this workout.

Neck: Sit straight and tilt your head back looking at the ceiling. Keep your lips closed and relaxed. Move your lower lip over your top lip as far as possible and keep for a count of ten. Relax and repeat for ten times.

Double chin: sit straight in a chair and tilt your head back and look at the ceiling. Keep your lips closed and relaxed. Make your lips round, count up to twenty and relax and bring your head back to the normal position.

Relax facial muscles

  • Open your lips as wide as they can go. Feel your cheeks, chin, and lips stretch to their limit. Hold and release and then repeat. This exercise relaxes your face muscles, increases circulation, and relieves tension and stress.
  • Take a deep breath at once and exhale forcefully opening your mouth wide and stick your tongue out as far as it will go. Open your eyes and look up. It relieves tension in the face and throat, improves circulation and stimulates the eyes.
  • Pinch your cheeks by taking flesh in your hands and squeeze. It improves blood circulation.

Facial exercises do not take much time and they are economical which helps in achieving healthy and glowing skin.

Useful Information on one of the Deadliest Diseases : Cancer

  1. Every person has cancer cells in their body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.
  2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.
  3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

  1. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like

    NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour.

    Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.
  2. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened Soya milk cancer cells are being starved.
  3. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.
  4. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment.

    About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
  5. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water: it is best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.
  6. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrefied and leads to more toxic build-up.
  7. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.
  8. Some supplements build up the immune system (anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.
